I have long been dissatisfied with my book Herbal Antibiotics. Although it was fine for its time, I have wanted to completely rewrite it for some time given all the changes since 1998 when I wrote it. Thankfully, the publisher finally agreed with that perspective and is strongly supportive of, what to all intents and purposes, is an entirely new book. The new version will be 5x the length of the current book – a hefty tome. It explores in depth the current state of resistant bacteria (which is bad) the numbers of new resistant bacteria (too many since the first edition of the book came out), and develops some very sophisticated protocols for treating resistant bacteria. The book will explore in depth herbal systemic antibacterials, herbal localized antibacterials, and antibacterial synergists. Interestingly most of the herbal systematic antibacterials are invasives. There is a large section on herbal antivirals and a very large section on immune herbs, a giant herbal material medica (the first I know of in book form besides Michael Moore’s pamphlets), plus a much expanded medicine making chapter. It should be out from Storey books sometime in late Spring 2012.

I am in the midst of revising the Healing Lyme book, which will take several years unfortunately. The first step is depth work on lyme coinfections. The initial material is a separate book on treating bartonella and mycoplasma, which hopefully will be out in fall of 2012. Second will be a book on treating babesia, ehrlichia, and anaplasma. Finally the lyme book itself will be revised for lyme and the coinfections covered in that book will be the lesser known ones such as coxiella and rickettsia. I will post some material from that book here when it is together enough to do so.

My direct sequel to The Secret Teachings of Plants is due out in Spring of 2014 – long time, I know. The Working title of the book is Gaia’s Mind: The Intelligence of Plants, The Dreaming of Earth, and the Ecological Function of the Human Species.  I have been doing a great deal of research on it and will begin writing it in April of 2012, the manuscript it due April of 2013 for a publication in April of 2014. Posts of that material will occur once the writing reaches a stage where it makes sense enough to be read.

A NOTE: Ensouling Language is actually a mini-sequel to The Secret Teachings of Plants. In it I develop in depth the use of synaesthetic perception which is essential to living in a state of biognosis and activating the pregnant point. That material will be taken much further in the new book but if you have been interested in biognosis and the process developed in the second half of Secret Teachings, the material in Ensouling Language will take you further than Secret Teachings did. Quite a bit further actually.
